GASTAC is a source factory specializing in locking gas spring for medical, furniture, automotive, and industrial equipment applications. We supply OEM and ODM customers worldwide and own the production lines, the tooling, and the testing lab. There is no intermediary markup and no third-party quality risk. With 20+ years of export experience, we manufacture to international standards, support full customization, and ship to 40+ countries with verified batch-level quality.
Factory capacity, certification scope, and batch test data are detailed in the sections below. Every unit is tested under a certified quality system before it leaves the line.

Certified Locking Gas Spring Quality — With Data You Can Verify
Every GASTAC locking gas spring is produced under a certified quality management system. We hold IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, RoHS, and REACH. Each batch is tested for force, leakage, fatigue, salt spray, and temperature cycling, with measurable acceptance criteria and full documentation available on request.

From Raw Material to Finished Locking Gas Spring — All In-House
How We Manufacture
GASTAC operates a 10,000 m² manufacturing facility with an annual capacity of 2 million locking gas springs. Vertical integration means every critical step is controlled by our own team, not outsourced.
Our in-house capabilities cover R&D and tooling, CNC machining of cylinder and rod components, automated welding and tube drawing, controlled nitrogen gas filling, final assembly, and a full testing laboratory for force, leak, fatigue, and salt spray. Finished goods are stored and packed on site for export.
Production lines and in-house tooling development are managed by our own engineering team, which means custom locking gas spring projects can move from drawing to sample without waiting on external suppliers. Nitrogen purity ≥99.99%, filling pressure 2.5–5.0 MPa.

Customization Options
As a locking gas spring source factory, GASTAC accepts full OEM and ODM locking gas spring projects. Send us your drawing, sample, or parameter list, and we manufacture to your specification, including custom branding and packaging.
The table below lists the parameters we can customize. If your requirement falls outside these ranges, contact us — we can often extend them for OEM projects.
What We Need From You to Start
To start a custom locking gas spring project, please provide: a drawing, sample, or parameter sheet; force (F1), stroke, and mounting dimensions; operating temperature range; mounting angle (vertical or inclined); and estimated annual quantity.
Prototyping takes 7 to 15 days depending on complexity. Sample approval typically takes 3 to 5 days. Mass production runs 15 to 30 days after deposit and sample approval. Tooling fee policy and refund conditions are confirmed at the quotation stage.

Not sure which parameters to customize? Use our Technical Support Center to measure and calculate the exact force and stroke you need. Accurate data on the first enquiry shortens the prototyping cycle significantly.
Sample Quality Equals Mass Production Quality
Three-Stage Inspection Process
The biggest sourcing risk is a good sample followed by inconsistent mass production. GASTAC controls this with a documented three-stage inspection process, full batch traceability, and a 24-hour complaint response commitment for every locking gas spring order.
First Article Inspection runs a full dimensional and force check before every new batch. In-Process Inspection performs scheduled checks during assembly and gas filling. Pre-Shipment Inspection does final force, leak, and appearance checks before packing and shipment.
Batch Traceability and After-Sales
Every locking gas spring can be traced back to raw material batch, production date, and inspection record. If a quality issue arises, we respond within 24 hours. A corrective action report is issued within 3 working days, and defective units are replaced or credited if the issue is confirmed on our side.
